Depicted in her Carmelite habit holding a crucifix and roses, the saint is represented through the celebrated Thérèse aux roses iconography. The portrait is flanked by slender openwork shoulders embellished with finely engraved beading and scrolling motifs, continuing into elongated bars with softly rounded terminals.
