A spectacular pair of well preserved cufflinks from the 1920s, their double sided facings showcasing a stunning floral Art-Deco design, expertly finished in vivid blue, black & white enamel champlevé, The stylised floral motifs and flowing geometric scrollwork reflect the transition between the lingering elegance of Art Nouveau and the cleaner, more structured aesthetics of the early Art-Deco period. The cool-toned enamel contrasts beautifully against the pale metal framework, while the hand-filled champlevé technique lends the surfaces a subtle depth and richness. Their double-sided construction and gently curved rectangular form give the pair a particularly sophisticated appearance when worn, perfectly suited to the sharply tailored fashions of the interwar years. A beautifully preserved example of early 20th century gentleman’s jewellery, retaining all the charm and craftsmanship of the period.

An exquisite French devotional brooch dedicated to Our Lady of Lourdes, crafted in richly enameled gilt brass. The openwork heart-shaped frame is embellished with scrolling champlevé enamel motifs in translucent red and contrasting light and dark blue tones, applied in softly defined fields that lend the piece a vivid, jewel-like presence. At the centre sits a finely die-struck openwork monogram for Notre-Dame de Lourdes (ND de L), mounted by hand. The crisp finish of the monogram, combined with the hand-pinned construction and traditional enamel work, reflects a high degree of manual labour and workshop practice, resulting in a finely made and expressive example of French devotional jewellery, designed to be worn close to the heart.
The brooch measures 2,5 x 2,5 cm. And makes use of a C-Catch to fasten the pin on the back.
