These stylish KUM-A-PART cufflinks, made by SWANK in the USA feature four identical enamel champlevé facings in a chevron motif with light & dark blue enamel. Patented in 1923, by Baer & Wilde, these KUM-A-PARTS were the American equivalent to the European "SNAP-Links" These came in a large variety of colors, motifs and shapes and are therefore highly collectible!
The facings measure: 1,3 cm x 1,3 cm
This type of "Snap-link" cufflinks first appeared after ww1 and came into mainstream popularity in the 1920s and 1930s.
They were designed for ease of use. Each snap-link consists of two parts, simply insert each end into each side of your cuffs and "snap" them close!
