A finely crafted Waldemar-style “Durchziehkette” from the 1920s, produced by the renowned German firm Kollmar & Jourdan of Pforzheim. This elegant chain features alternating curb links and eleven meticulously constructed fancy links—each formed by two droplet-shaped wires housed within a slender elongated frame. Stamped KOLLMAR KETTE. Likely gold-plated over brass or base metal. A superb example of interwar German craftsmanship, designed to pass through a buttonhole and worn from pocket to pocket.
The full chain measures 35,5 cm long/ It's very fine, which is typical for interwar minimalist designs, only a few milimeters wide. It has a swivel clasp to attach a watch unto, and a spring ring, to hold an accessory.
