This charming 1920s tie clip is crafted in silver-plated brass and fitted with a practical lever-tightening mechanism, in which the hinged arm lifts to open the clip and locks down to secure the tie neatly in place. The round facing is decorated with rich cobalt-blue enamel, centred with a crisp white initial “J” rendered in a flowing, ornamental script.
The clip measures: 3 cm long and is best used with a wide shirt band and/ or narrow tie.
In decent Vintage condition. Some scratches and wear on the silver-plating. The blue enamel is chipped in multiple places, however the initial "J" remains intact and perfectly readable. Otherwise fully cleaned, and ready to wear!
