An early tie clip, made from nickel-plated brass, featuring a copper Art-Nouveau facing with a stylised female figure with flowing hair, rendered in fine relief. The clip employs a push-pull mechanism similar to "The Wedge" system patented by Thomas Morton in England.
The clip measures: 3 cm long and is best used with a Vintage or antique style tie and shirt, attached to the point (see illustration in the pictures). Alternatively, it can also be worn with a narrow modern tie.
In good Antique condition. No major visible dents or scratches. Some wear on the plating near the edges which is not very visible. Mechanism works perfectly! Fully cleaned, and ready to wear!
